Acer is a brand of the world's top five personal computer. Acer products include desktops, notebooks, servers, data storage, display, peripherals, and e-business solutions for business, government, education and personal users.
Was first established under the name Multitech, founded in 1976, which was later renamed Acer in 1987. Pan Acer Group employs 39 000 people in more than 100 countries. Revenue in 2002 was U.S. $ 12.9 billion. Its headquarters is located in Sijhih City, Taipei County, Taiwan.
Acer's market in North America have declined in recent years while its European markets continues to rise. His success in Europe partly because of sponsorship from the team and former Formula 1 Ferrari F1 team, Prost Grand Prix.
