Reunited the Hilton brand after 40 years apart in February 2006, when Hilton Hotels Corporation, based in the U.S. to buy Hilton Group PLC, based in United Kingdom.
In April 2007, the hotel chain has 229 hotels worldwide and partnered with many airlines and car rentals.
